Our International Medical Service (IMS) provides a one-stop service for international patients, including providing cost estimates for your treatment and hospital stay, arranging appointments with the doctors and accommodation for you and your accompanying relatives to suit your budget and assisting you with the hospital registration and admission.

Admission Services

We will help you make arrangements for hospital admission and advise you on the approximate length of stay and pre-admission fee estimates.

Appointments and Referrals

We will help to schedule appointments with the appropriate cardiologist based on the type of heart condition you have.

As National Heart Centre (NHC) is located together with other medical fraternities (eye, cancer, dental and neuroscience specialist centres and 1 acute care hospital) within the medical campus, we have access to other 32 specialties whereby we can help refer you to these specialists where appropriate. 

Billing Enquiries

Based on the initial treatment recommended by the specialist, we will provide you with a cost estimate for your outpatient and/ or hospital stay.

Concierge Service

To ensure that you and your relatives’ needs are well taken care of, we also provide other services to make your stay here hassle-free and more pleasant.
 
· Interpreters for non-English speaking patients
· Foreign exchange
· Private nursing service
· Business Centre services including faxing, photocopying and assisting in the visa extension (where required).

Evacuation/Return to Home Country

We will coordinate with the international medical assistance agencies if you need to evacuate to Singapore for treatment. Likewise, we can assist with the return-to-home country arrangements to ensure that you have a safe journey home.

Follow-up Care

We will assist you with follow-up care arrangements, including arranging for the next follow-up appointment, rehabilitation, and provision of medical devices and special therapy.

Accommodation

We will help you find a hotel or service apartment located within 2 km of National Heart Centre at attractive corporate rates, which best suits your needs and budget,

Cardiac Health Screening Programme

The NHC offers comprehensive cardiac screening services and our team of specialists will see to all the tests. You have the benefit of being referred directly to our multi-disciplinary specialists and clinical services if further evaluation is required.

You can choose from one of the two health screening packages available: cardiac health screening or executive cardiac health screening.
